A-ranked missions for Dante

Dante walked out of the hokage’s office and sighed as he looked at the scroll of the mission he was just given, it was an A-rank mission something he had never done before but it supposedly was a tough mission that he was supposed to work out alone. Thinking back to the mission he sighed as it was not just a one on one conversation between Dante and the Hokage, “Dante… this mission is very important for us because there is a new country founded beside the wind country which is under the gem country, I want you to head there and take out their leader, he is not just a missing nin but he’s aiming to build an army there to invade each of the main countries.” The hokage said as he placed the jutsu scroll on the table for Dante to come and pick up, Dante picked up the scroll and opened it he read the name of the man he was supposed to go and assassinate, “this is going to be not only hard but insane!” he said as he looked at the Hokage, there’s no way you should be sending me on this kind of mission alone!” Dante complained as he had finished reading that the man was not only considered an S-rank criminal but he was also a sannin of Kiri as well!

Dante couldn’t help but wonder why in the world the Hokage had given him this mission, because he had the rinnegan? Or he was associated with Hayabusa and Satyr Uchiha? Dante didn’t really know or care much because those we’re his own reasons and that he had his very own reason for them. But there was other things he had to do before he would take the Hokage’s position as his own and revamp how Konoha worked and did things. “Bah I accept this mission no matter and I WILL return!” he said as Dante placed the scroll in his pouch.

Dante grabbed all of his gear before he walked out of the door and made his way slowly approaching the gate looking out at the horizon as he ignored the questions of the gate guards as he threw a piece of paper at them floating gently into the grasp of one of the guards who looked over the note before they gave up and let Dante go because he was allowed to leave the village, Dante continued to leave the village and followed along the path, he closed his eyes as he could hear the world around him and walk along the roads. He arrived at the village he usually headed too where the cats who sold everything for the Uchiha’s, Dante had gained the knowledge and acceptance of the cats because of him being the Tiger’s summoner and sage.

After Dante had gathered all of his gear and information he had got a ride that gave him a lift to the location of where he would be going, this next part was going to be hell on earth for him. The most annoying part about assassinations was scoping the area out, setting a plan, and finding out certain information about such things in a way.

Dante had gathered all the information he would require and the mans location for where he would be and what time and how to deal with everything so precariously. Dante strung up three arrows and moved from his hiding spot looking out upon all the guards on the wall, twang, the sound of the bow sounded the area Dante was in but the guards who noticed the sound but only felt the piercing sting of the arrows that pierced their flesh. All of the bodies dropped to the ground dead, Dante watched them fall down before he looked around for more guards as he grabbed some more arrows holding them with his bow hand and using one of them to launch an arrow at a guard he wasn’t suspecting. ‘There’s more guards then I was anticipating tonight…’ he thought.

One after another the guards numbers started to dwindle more and more as Dante continued to hit them all with arrows, until he was standing at the vantage point where he could see the man he was pointed at to kill. He pulled the arrow back and looked at the man as he knew the arrow was poisoned to make extra care that this man would die from this arrow no matter the reason. Drawing the arrow back on the string from the bow he took aim and made some last moment adjustments to the aim and let the arrow fly, it whistled as it flew through the air before it struck the man in the shoulder he grunted in pain and Dante quickly drew another arrow while he had the chance to do so.

The man crashed through the housing in places Dante couldn’t see or get a shot going into, he sighed and noticed an archer aiming at him, he drew back letting the arrow fly hitting the archer before noticing the mans arrow shot went else where, Dante couldn’t figure out why but then it was revealed, a group of five shinobi had hit the place behind Dante but the archer noticed them and shot a flashing arrow. Dante grinned as he remained where he was before he set up two arrows and shot them from where he was at the shinobi as he could hear how the moved and they indeed we’re not of konoha, it sounded like they we’re of the rock country. Dante grinned as the arrows flew through the air coming down upon two of the shinobi injuring them, “hehe… teach you boys to try and take my mission…” he said with a smirk on his face before he flashed inside the building with a feather grabbing the blood of his target to prove his mission complete. The travels home we’re indeed going to be long and difficult as well.

Dante was standing at the border of the country where he had just completed an assassination mission was held, he looked at the mission scroll and sighed this mission was a protection contract for someone who was of great importance to Konoha, she requested that Dante meet her at her home on the far ends of Suna which he would have been close to but also the fact it was a long road and he would be required to protector her no matter through out the entire trip. Dante made his way into the wind country and found the building compound which was actually a very large and well defended building, it was more like a fortress itself that was protected by shinobi of the wind country. Dante walked up to the gates and knocked on the gates of the building, “Hello? I’m here to pick up someone.” he said as he noticed one of the guards open a slot to look and speak out of from one of the gates. The guard looked at him suspiciously, “What country are you from, what is your name and do you have the scroll saying so?” he asked trying to be as careful as ever. Dante nodded before he reached into his pouch slowly and carefully before he pulled the scroll out carefully as well as his passport. “My name is Dante Kazama, I am the Tiger Sage of Konoha.” He said as he placed them both on the ground opening the scroll as he stepped back and dropped to a knee, he didn’t want to have to wait for some stupid shit to slow him down even more.

The guard opened the gate as five jounins came out all together, four of them surrounded Dante while the other one that opened the gate looked at Dante’s mission scroll and passport matching the information from both before he walked over to Dante, “look up at me.” he said before everyone noticed he had the rinnegan eyes, “so the rumours are true at last.” the guard said as he nodded for the other guards back away and let him up, having his passport, and mission scroll handed back Dante smiled as he nodded “thanks, so where is lady…?” he said wondering if they’d give him the name, one of the guards looked at him and smiled “her name is Temari after her grandmother.” the guard said as he motioned for them to head inside the building. Dante followed the guard as the other guards followed in behind the two of them, he looked over at one of the guards before he nodded then the other guard ran off, “someone is running off to get Lady Temari so she’ll be down shortly, but why did they only send one of you for this mission?” the guard asked looking at Dante curiously. “Well I am the sage of Konoha, I’m apparently the only animal sage in the world right now, and on top of that I have these eyes, making me a very strong fighter.” he said with a smirk, “I could have blown the gates down easily but I chose not too because I respect my allies and on top of that it have been useless because I’m not an enemy.” he said with a wink.

The guard led him into a room and let him have a seat before a woman that looked amazing but dressed in shinobi gear as well, “it looks like you’re my escort back to your home country?” Temari asked looking at Dante, he just smiled and nodded, “we should be on our way though, I have a planned course but it leads along the borders as I would easily get lost in the sandy wasteland out there, I was able to find this place easily as I have a handy tool that tells me the co-ordinates of places.” he said with a nod. After everything was done and said for the trip Dante and Temari we’re on their way heading to the border and followed it along the borders of the wind country. But there was something that kept picking at Dante, it wasn’t the fact that trouble had hit them yet or Temari but the fact that there was no signs of people following nor setting up traps as of yet. This must have meant trouble was coming at them from up ahead which he wasn’t to particularly fond of as he didn’t want this mission to hit trouble as of yet.

The two of them finally hit the konoha borders but Temari could see that Dante was troubled by them not meeting any resistance of any kind, “why are you so bothered in your own country Dante-san?” Temari asked looking at Dante with curiosity upon his face, “our country is not the most secure place even though we are the strongest country.” he said as he continued to keep his senses sharp. Temari just smirked and gave Dante a sexy looking expression, “well now aren’t you honest.” Temari said before Dante sensed chakra and heard movements as well as a weapon being unsheathed, “I knew it was coming…” he said as he used his chakra sword to block an on coming kunai. Dante made a clone before he pointed to Temari, “my clone with keep you safe long enough to reach the gates of Konoha, go!” he said, Temari nodded and turned and ran as fast as she could with Dante’s clone keeping up with no problem it seemed. The clone stopped keeping the defenders away from Temari until she reached the gates and was safe before the clone was hit unleashing a brutal wind hitting all those around her.

Dante flickered to where she was after he had dealt with all the attackers holding the headband of the rock country, “these fuckers seem to forget who the real power is.” he said as his second A-rank mission was completed, “thank-you for getting me to Konoha safely Kazama Dante.” she said before she kissed him on the check which made him blush a bit.
