It had been a while since Satyr had last done a mission, and he was almost looking forward to it, as now that he was an official chuunin he would be able to take c rank missions, far more interesting than any mere d rank mission, which were more like chores than missions for ninja's, or at least that's now Satyr and many other ninja's thought. After wandering through the village towards the Hokage's office building, he entered the room where he would get his mission. As he suspected he was finally being tasked with a C rank, far more worthy of someone with his skill's, he thought to himself. As he picked up the scroll, unravelling it and beginning to read it, it was immediately obvious that it would indeed be a real mission, one that involved some form of danger and required more than just a pair of hands. His mission was to go to some village in the fire country, and calm down some local ruffian's, ensuring that they don't make any more trouble, and also as an added bonus make them pay for the various damages they had caused to the local's, particularly the local tavern. After picking up his necessary things Satyr made his way over to the village gate, where the guards in charge of the human traffic were. "I shall be going for at least a few days on a mission, just so you know" he told them once he got closer to them, then carried on his ways. It was correct practice to let the gate guards know if you were leaving and how long for, so if you were missed by anyone they would know you were on a mission, rather than leaving the village without permission, stopping any form of misunderstandings. Once having done that, he quickly left the safety of the village, and began his walk towards the little town that was where his mission was at. It took around half a day's travel for Satyr to reach the town, and he did not need to stop along the way, he wanted to get this done and finished as soon as possible to show how much he had grown and so that he could start the next mission. Once satyr arrived, he went directly to the tavern, which was an obvious landmark from its shape, style and placement. Upon entering the tavern, he went over to wear the bar was, to where the owner was. "Are you the one who requested the mission to rid this town of a few ruffians?" Satyr queried to the bar tender.
To this the bar tender replied "Yes that would be me, I take it that you are the ninja hired for this task. You look accomplished enough to handle the 2 ruffian's I mentioned. Don't worry about trying to find them, they are sure to come by here later tonight, so you might as well just wait around the bar and wait for the noise." After hearing that Satyr then left the bar area, and went to sit down on one of the table's, waiting to be served a decent meal in the meantime of him waiting, as he was rather hungry now after the travel here. It wasn't long after Satyr had finished his meal, that just as the client had said, the 2 trouble makers entered the tavern. Satyr was quick to react, jumping up and rushing in front of them. They were both quick to anger at this sign of someone denying their 'authority', and shouted out "What do you think your doing punk? dont you know who we are?", to which Satyr responded.
"I know who you are, so I came from far and wide to challenge you, lets see what your really made of, lets step outside." He chose his words carefully, trying to provoke them and make sure that they would comply to his wishes, if all went to plan this would be over quickly. "All right you fucking brat, bring it on." One of them shouted before charging outside, waiting for Satyr to follow out onto the street, which he did. Once outside the other one of the 2 said "If you think you can come here and challenge us, you've got alot to learn". Satyr didn't even both by replying to this, instead he pulled out a kunai and charged at the one on the left, observing how he appeared surprised by the speed with which he moved. Satyr first attempted a slash across his face, but they guy simply leaned back and tried to throw a punch at Satyr's face, which he caught, then twisted around, throwing him to the ground and sending him some distance. While that was happening the other drew out a katana, and rushed at Satyr. When they were just a few meter's apart, Satyr weaved some handseals, then breathed in deep, activating katon goukakyuu no jutsu, from that range he could not miss, burning him heavily and leaving him to roll on the ground trying to put out the flames that now stuck to his clothes. Satyr quickly moved his attention back towards the man he originally attacked, who had just gotten up, shocked from what he had just seen, as he looked on at Satyr, he cast a genjutsu on him, having him see nothing other than the blackened outline of some insane beast in place of Satyr. While the genjutsu was in place he wasted no time in throwing his held kunai straight at the mans throat, his life blood pouring onto the street. The one he had burned had put out the fire, and was begining to rise, when Satyr jumped next to him, and with the side of his hand he struck his throat, making him pass out. He picked up the unconcious body, took it back inside the tavern, where he walked upto the client. "Here you go, he's unconcious so call the authoritys and they can lock him up. The other one wont ever be a bother round here again." After saying that and slumping the body on the floor, he turned away, and once again began his treck back to konoha. He was in high spirits, he had managed to win in a real fight scenario, and sucessfully used his various techniques, proof he was getting somewhere in this shinobi world, where strength meant everything to the individual.
