the first spar together [Satyr/Dante]

Dante had his gear with him again and was walking around holding his odachi sword in its sheath in his hand, it was sort of sticking out over his shoulder and he sighed a bit as he found the day boring completely as he continued to walk down the streets. ‘I wonder what I should do today…’ he thought to himself before he had a sudden idea hit him, he made a seal to having a clone appear before him, “go to the Uchiha compound and find Satyr there.” he said to the clone, the clone nodded and ran off into the distance towards the Uchiha’s compound. Dante thought he would go and relax on the top of the village gate for now until his clone gave the knowledge of where Satyr would be at.

The clone ran all the way to the Uchiha compound and started looking around for Satyr, “Satyr!” the clone would call out until someone told him where he was or where he had went.

Satyr had just finished his fight with Satoshi, and had been making his way back towards his apartment in the Uchiha complex, he was planning on going to his place to leave some of his equipment, before going into the temple to find out more about his eyes, as he had recently activated it so that he now possessed the two tomoe sharingan. This brought questions with it and he wanted to know more about what it did and what it could eventually do. As he got into the Uchiha complex how ever he noticed a familiar face from not too long ago.
“He walked over towards Dante as he was shouting his name and said back “That would be me, Dante. What brings you out to this desolate place? And what can I do to help you out?” For the moment he still wanted the village to trust him, and it appeared that as Dante had been trusted with information about him, by getting friendly with him the Hokage would not suspect as much.

Dante’s clone turned around and smiled “ah there you are, I’m just one of Dante’s clones but he wants to know if your up for a spar and I used to know someone else that lived here and I have family in the Uchiha clan, I’m frowned upon from entering here but no one is willing to stop me from entering into my own families compound.” he said as he nodded handing Satyr a name of a training location. It was a small field a little ways into the tree lands that he had gotten permission for both of them to train within. “Dante will see you there.” he said with a slight bow before disappearing into a cloud of smoke.

Dante smiled as he knew Satyr had gotten the information before he placed his hands together before he vanished into a cloud of smoke and appeared at the training grounds awaiting Satyr.

At discovering this was just a clone Satyr was almost impressed. He liked the way that Dante got things done, as quickly and as efficiently as possible, expending the least amount of effort. In this instance he probably had better things to do than find out about potential chances to train. Satyr smiled at the clone, and took the information given to him. “I shall see you shortly then” he said before the clone disappeared in to a cloud of smoke. ‘Well this could end up pretty interesting’ he thought to him self, as last time they met he did not get a chance to either see his powers or show him his, and so he looked forward to getting to see another ninja’s tactics and ways of doing things. The more he found out about other methods the quicker he would gain experience and be prepared for any thing that might come at him. He quickly went to the wooded field that Dante had specified, not going so quickly as to tire him out. When he got there he called out “Yo Dante, I’m ready for this little spar if you are”

Dante heard Satyr arrive and smiled as he was sitting up in a tree, his gear was all worn upon his body, he only had two of his swords on him and the rest was just body gear, he quickly weaved some seals and had the clone land in front of Satyr, “so, what type of rules would you like for our little spar?” the clone said grinning as he looked at Satyr wondering as too what kind of shinobi he was, hopefully he wasn’t a gen user because Dante had a very sneaky and handy armour to get around those annoying illusions.

I was thinking along the lines we fight like we’re trying to kill each other but not so much so that one of us dies in the process of it.” he said holding his swords both in one hand, one was long and the other was along the same size as Satyr’s but Dante’s had a secret ability to it.

Satyr let out a grin at Dante’s suggestion, he did oh so very much hate having to hold back during a fight, and from what he had seen the other day he should not need to do such a thing against this person. “So the rules to this little spar… are to go all out then I take it? Sounds more than good, what would be the point of this if we did not try and stretch our selves to improve, as a mere work out you could do any time.” After saying this he slowly drew his own katana, as from the looks of things and from what he saw last time at the weapon show, he would primarily use weapons such as those, and he would need some thing of equal size to effectively go toe to toe with him.

The clone grinned before Dante made another clone and took the kusanagi katana from the clone and had the clone disappear again still holding the kusanagi he grabbed from the clone and dropped the sword to the ground. The clone smiled and pointed to the sword and laughed “you might want to use that sword instead of yours, my swords would cut through yours with just a swing my friend.” he said as he withdrew the Kusanagi himself. Dante stood up and crouched down looking at how the fight would go for a bit between them two for a bit before he would jump in and have some fun with them.

The clone felt the weight of the sword for a bit and smiled “its been a while since I wielded this sword.” he said before looking over at Satyr, “ready?” he asked awaiting his confirmation before he would charge in going only half speed at first bringing the sword in a downward attack then twirled around quickly to do a round house slash before he lunged in for a stab to see how Satyr would counter such a combo.

Satyr was at first a little confused as to what was happening, but before long he realised, he was to use this other sword instead of his own, that was why he made the other clone. He quickly sheathed his own blade, and took the entire thing out of his belt, where it was sitting on the back of his hip, and picked up the new weapon. It felt lighter, and better made by far than his own katana. ‘Did he make thing one him self?’ he thought to himself, ‘maybe before I leave konoha I should get him to fix me up with some thing more appropriate’, but as he thought that Dante had asked him if he was ready, to which he replied “As ready as I shall ever be”, and as soon as he had finished talking Dante rushed at him, the first strike was a downward slash, to which he ducked and brought his kusanagi clone above his head to repel it. He could feel the strength difference between the two of them, but he thought that he still might have a chance to make up for that in other parts. At this time he activated his sharingan, now two tomoe, and brought his sword back down just fast enough to block the side slash, but he could not bring his arm back round to block the stab, and so he dived back ward to escape his reach. “Your pretty good, and nice blade” he called.

Dante grinned as he managed to avoid the attacks, ‘not to shabby, but he’s using the help of his eyes.’ he thought to himself as he grinned before he clapped his hands together and vanished over behind Satyr leaving a cloud of smoke behind where he once was, he stopped and pulled his leg around for a sweep kick to knock Satyr off his legs before springing himself up and bringing a double downward slash upon where he would be if he managed to trip Satyr.

Dante sat up in the tree’s and smiled as he was able avoid all of his clones attacks so far, he then jumped from branch to branch to keep over Satyr to pull a possible flank attack.

As the clone disappeared, Satyr was surprised once again by this man. They had to of been kage bunshins, rather than regular bunshins. Not only was its attacks very real but also with his new eyes he could now see chakra flow, and clones were not meant to have much in comparison to a real person, yet these seemed to have enough chakra to be able to even use their own jutsu’s. As the other clone dropped down behind him he noticed far to late, having his legs taken out from under him. He once again brought his sword up however to stop the sword attacks before they cut into him. He then pushed upward, trying to get the clone to give him enough space to jump up, giving him time to quickly let go of the sword long enough to perform some hand seals, and activate katon goukakyuu no jutsu, aiming to both eliminate this clone and set alight to the trees around him, trying to flush out the real Dante.

The clone jumped back a bit before sheathing and unsheathing his Kage odachii katana, it was a great deal longer then a katana but alas it weight next to nothing still, he brought the sword up and unleashed a large black fuuton cutting wind slash from his sword into the fire ball after it was shot out at him causing the giant fireball to suddenly expand a huge bit before exploding from the hidden part of the attack, it gave off a large amount of heat and the clone almost vanished from the heat but he managed to get far back enough to avoid the secret.

Dante stood nearly at the top of the tree’s but he could still hear and see everything that was going on between Satyr and his clone while they we’re fighting which made him smirk a bit.

The clone quickly switched weapons again before charging back in at Satyr doing another round house slash followed by an upper slash with enough strength that if Satyr was to parry it would knock his sword up depending on how he would block it, either way he would be left with a cut or left dazed for a few seconds.

Having his katon jutsu virtually nullified, Satyr needed to rethink his way of doing things. If his katon jutsu was rendered almost useless in this 1 on 1 situation and his own sword skills were less than his opponent, then that left him with almost no options open that would be successful. As the Dante clone came at him once again Satyr first threw a kunai at him, before bringing his newly acquired sword to the side to block the roundhouse slash. Once blocking that he saw the next attack as It was coming thanks to his sharingan, and brought it down to block the next strike at him, however that strike was far more powerful than all the previous ones so far, pushing him off the ground and sending him back a few meters. ‘Must be due to my light weight, not only his strength’ he thought while he was recovering.
After a few short seconds of recovering time Satyr decided that now was the time for him to go upon the offensive, as only by going completely offensive would he ever land a hit. He moved at full speed towards Dante, first doing a spin holding out the kusanagi, aiming at neck height, then as he would have landed 180 degrees he spun back the blade and made a backwards thrust, stabbing at mid height, then did a forward roll, stabbing the blade in the ground half way through, and as he landed on his feat he aimed another katon goukakyuu no jutsu, hoping to set alight enough trees as to give him some form of significant advantage, advantage enough to be able to turn the fight in his favour. So far he had only seen Dante use a futon type jutsu, but he never knew if he could use more than just those or not, either way he was sure he would see fairly soon.

Dante stood there watching above from where Satyr was and grinned before he formed the tajuu kage buunshin no jutsu hand seals again, this time he had at least twenty five clones appear all around him and laughed as he fell down with them all, the current clone that was facing off against Satyr had taken the hit from the katon goukakyuu no jutsu, all the other attacks we’re very easy for the clone to counter mainly because he could hear Satyr’s movements well enough with his ears and as well as seeing them as he was accustomed to fighting at high speeds with his fights with Hayabusa but he almost failed to block a couple here and there due to him being a little rusty at fighting in a way.

All the clones landed around Satyr as well as Dante making it twenty six clones surrounding him, one after the other they all started to charged in doing at least two to four attacks before jumping back or disappearing into a cloud of smoke if Satyr managed to hit them.

The first one came in doing a side slash as he ran by then turned around to pull another downward angled slash at Satyr, the other came in from the blind side pulling almost the same attacks, this continued until it was Dante’s turn to charge in. Dante charged in releasing all of his clones having all the experience and all that suddenly rush in and hit him, he grinned as he suddenly sped up faster then he was with all the clones there doing a slash attack before disappearing into a cloud of smoke again doing a downward slash at Satyr’s back enough to wound him not kill him, then again to where he would turn to hit him in the stomach with the handle of the sword.

Satyr felt some success at taking out one of the clones, however as soon as he did this a huge number of Dante’s dropped down around him. He did not have time to count them, only knew that he was completely surrounded by the sheer quantities of clones. The worst thing was that unlike normal clones these shadow clones could actually cause damage, and would each require to be hit before they disappeared, and until then they could just cause total havoc. He would need to act, not think, and thanks to his sharingan he managed to do just this, his body reacting to the speed he was picking up information from his eyes, every thing was done as a reflex action, not a single second of hesitation.
As they all came towards him, he had managed to take out a kunai with his left hand, still holding the kusanagi in his right. He ducked under bellow the first clones reach, using the small length of the kunai to his advantage, aiming it directly up and causing the first clone to disappear into smoke. Before he could do anything else the next one was coming at him with a downward stroke to his already low position. This time he thrust the kusanagi directly upward, jumping at the same time to make sure that his attack got through the considerable defence of Dante. He carried on in similar fashion through most of the clones, gaining cuts along his arms and legs, as well as his torso.
By the time the last clone diminished into thin air it was left with just Dante and Satyr. By this time however Satyr was fairly exhausted, having to go all out to survive the last onslaught. His sharingan deactivated as the slash came across his back, and he fell to his knee’s. While still on his knees he said “Well… that was interesting…. And fun…. We should have another spar sometime, what ya say?”

Dante looked at Satyr as he fell to his knees and nodded with a slight chuckle, “whew, that was quite the spar.” he said as he walked over in front of Satyr and fell on his backside to sit down and relax, “that was fun indeed, we definitely should do this again sometime!” he said as he laughed before he released the cloned kusanagi katana from the area before he sheathed his kusanagi sword. He laughed a bit before he stood up and disappeared to only reappear behind Satyr, “this should help with the cut, its not to deep or threatening but it’ll still get infected if you don’t look after your wounds.” he said as he nodded to Satyr, throwing him a water gourd he laughed “well seeing the time I got to run, I have to take my friend to see a movie she wants to see and she doesn’t know anyone else here in town so you take care my friend, I shall see you again soon!” he said as he laughed as he picked up his bag but before he left he turned back to face Satyr, “oh yeah, that water is mixed with a special mix to help your body recover quicker and healthy from such a spar.” he added before waved “later!” he said before he vanished into a cloud of smoke to head home and shower to get ready for the movie he was taking his friend to go see.

After taking a few moments to properly recover his breath, Satyr was already feeling considerably better, and having Dante help tend his wounds helped out even more. “Thanks for that, I would not want that wound to become infected at all now would I?” He asked, not expecting a reply. “yes I have a few things to attend to myself, I wish you the best and see ya round Dante.” He said as he left. But before he left completely he caught the water gourd thrown at him, and he drank deeply from it before he left himself. The would had quickly closed and it did not take him long to go and reach the Uchiha complex, his destination for now, so that he could turn in for the night. He had originally planned on getting his tasks set in motion tonight, but now he felt too tired to be able to do that, it would have to wait till another time. ‘I need a new sword’ he thought as he looked at his own katana once he reached his apartment, ‘Maybe I can ask Dante if he’s willing to make me something special, I’m sure if I can get some thing for him he would be more than willing to do that for me.’ Before long though he was in his bed asleep.
