Taking charge of his life (closed)

Kai sighed as he walked upon the clear field. He sat down under a nearby tree and closed his eyes as he began to concentrate, closing his eyes, trying to remember something from his past, anything.

Kai sat down in a chair at the bottom of a well with his hands tied behind his back, looking up at the bright circle above that led to his freedom. Kai was young and very frightened. He couldn't believe that Ashitora was doing this to him. Wait till he told mom what Ashitora-kun was doing. Kai began rocking violently and yelling as Ashitora began talking down to Kai.

"You better hurry up and use that Nawanuke no Jutsu that I tought you in order to escape because I'm about to start filling the well with sand. It'll first turn to quicksand, then eventually you'll be burried allive."

Kai's eyes widened with fright as it began to fell as thought the sky was raining sand on him and he began to feel sooty. He closed his eyes and concentrated, trying to make the ropes loosen so he could get free but once the sand rose to his knees he began to panic and scream out at Ashitora. Ashitora assured Kai that he could do it but he had to be put under pressure. Once again the dirt began to fall and Kai's body started stiffening up under the weight of the sand. Finally Kai felt the ropes loosen and he began crying as he climbed from the well and began running home.

Kai opened his eyes with sorrow in his heart. If only he could remember his parents face, remember Ashitora's face. Kai then stood up and began walking back toward Konoha.
