The Scientist's Idolization [Hayabusa]

The journey to Oto, the Sound Village, was a lot quicker from Taki, than the trip to Taki from Konoha. Even though he had to cross over another village in order to get to Oto, the size of the villages compared to the size of even half of Fire Country was in no way comparable…
He felt weak during his walk, but he had heard of these special pills. He only knew where to find the man to get the pills… and he knew that they were expensive. That is why Hayabusa had saved his money as well as got a little bit from Nythyia.

These pills were created by a man named Kabuto. In Konoha, not much was known about this man. However, in Oto, this man was famous. Hayabusa came here for two things… one was to get the pills. Two was to gather knowledge on this Kabuto guy, in hopes that he too could find some of his goods or equations that could help Hayabusa prepare some works for himself… experimental work.
That is how the man with the pills came across these pills… he found a book of some of Kabuto’s recipes. And so he became rich and famous from it.

Hayabusa knew that those in this village were very interesting. They had sound amplifiers… some even used jutsu through sound. Majority of the Genjutsu users in the Sound village uses the Genjutsu through sound specifically. This fact interested him… he figured when all was set and done, and he had done all his traveling and concluded his heavy training… and have reached a high enough level to be a candidate to become a Sannin or even a Kage, he would come back here and learn the ways of using jutsu with sound. He might even include it into part of his training.

Where he would squeeze it in, he had no idea. He still had to go to Kiri, and perhaps to Lightening country to meet up with the one known as Ryukatsu and train him, like the man Hayabusa had once admired asked him to do. Perhaps after that, and he would return home for a little bit, and perhaps Suna… he would begin to create a home here… somewhere to experiment. One of his many get aways from everything else. Then again, rumor has it that, just like Kiri, a lot of bad people spawn from this village. Oto villagers aren’t very well liked around any where else.

Hayabusa had finally stepped into the gates of Oto after a long, long time. It wasn’t so great… by far, Konoha had been the best place he has been too. This place looked like a giant factory. There wasn’t as many people here in the open as there were at Konoha, or even Suna in that matter. He felt this place would be for times that he would want to be left alone… he wouldn’t want to be social… he wouldn’t want to be bothered by anybody. Because here, the few people that were on the street weren’t really socializing with each other.

Hayabusa, himself, was skeptical… he didn’t know who to approach or what woul become of him bothering somebody… definitely when he is an outsider. He heard that Konoha and Oto didn’t have the greatest of relationships. He didn’t even really know why it was this way. All he knew is that it had something to do with the Oto villagers aligning with a man who had attempted to destroy Konoha. He had heard the man’s name before, but he couldn’t remember it right off the back. If he heard it, he would know that it was the name that he had once heard before.

“Well… I suppose I will be scoping out the damn library myself…” Hayabusa said to himself. Even though he was much on knowledge, he didn’t like exploring on his own. It wasn’t that he was alone in a strange unfamiliar place, but it was the fact that he was alone in a strange unfamiliar place wondering around aimlessly…
Hayabusa walked around this big factory looking area in hopes of finding what may be the library. But… none of the buildings had signs. How unorganized could you be? Hayabusa guessed you’d have to be from there to know where you’re going.

Hayabusa seen a woman walking across the street. Hayabusa was a lot more comfortable speaking to a woman than a male… when a woman was bitchy, he was used to it, thanks to his mother. But when a male was attitudey and became arrogant, Hayabusa took everything that person says as ‘fighting words.’ It was as if Hayabusa has some hidden temper that even he didn’t know about. But, he figured he would avoid such a conflict… definitely when he was on his own in a place that he had never been to before and they are probably all allies.

“Excuse me, miss…” the woman stopped mid way through the streets. She looked at Hayabusa. He approached her and looked as his head band. She sucked her teeth and shook her head.
“You best watch whom you talk to and whom you approach with that head band. A lot of people here still don’t take kindly to your villagers…” she said as she began to walk away. “Be warned…” she said. Did people really not like Konoha people for something that happened 70 years ago? Hayabusa could not believe such hatred still existed. But, he wasn’t going to let that stop him.

“Please… I just need to know where the local library is…” he said, kind og using a pleading voice. She turned and looked back at him.
“If I tell you where it is, will you leave me alone? I mean no more questions…” she said.
“Yes ma’am…” Hayabusa said.
“Fine… go down two blocked, turn right. The flag of the village is right out front. DO NOT GO LEFT… that would be a mistake… that is the school. Understand? Good bye…” she turned and left.
“Thank you kindly…” Hayabusa said, readying to bow, but she wouldn’t see if he did.

Hayabusa looked back up before looking off in the direction that she had pointed in. It looked somewhat abandoned. He looked at the sun to see if he could determine the time it was. It was a little earlier that noon. That meant that school was still in session. No wonder there were no kids outside playing around or sparing… or training. Hayabusa didn’t even know what the kids here were like. Never the less, Hayabusa began to walk toward his destination… he repeated in his mind. Two blocks down, then turn right, not left. He’d rather not take his chance on why.

After the two blocks, Hayabusa had looked down both ways from the middle of the intersection. Indeed he had seen both flags. He had walked right as instructed by the woman. He wasn’t going to even play around with his curiosity of what would happen if he were to go to the academy… he didn’t want to know what kind of security that had guarding their young.
He approached the building with the flag using the building as its base, standing out at sidewalk length. It had dingy colors to it. It was not very attractive to him at all.

He walked into the library that had a solid metal door. It was as if it was a jail cell from the outside. But the insides further pushed him into his belief that you should not judge a book by its cover. It was air conditioned and felt lovingly. The floors were ever carpeted. It was nice, quite, and organized in this place. Is this why people stay insides? The outside looked so… ugly… where as the insides are about the greatest of all architecture. And Hayabusa has seen some great architecture in his life, including that in which was made out of Sand in Suna.

He looked around and there was nobody here except the one librarian. Hayabusa took his head band off and put it in his pocket before approaching the front desk. He was going to take the woman’s advice and to make sure that he doesn’t approach any body whom was a little bit sour towards Konoha ninja. Definitely not somebody that would be helping him find out what he needed to know.
He came up to the desk and the librarian approached the librarian, looking her up and down. He had seen her to be a very sexy and attractive woman.

She looked up from the book she was reading, taking off her glasses and waving her black hair around. Her eyes were a beautiful blue and she looked him up and down. She placed the book down and leaned in closer to him.
“May I help you!?” she asked him.
“Yes… I would like to see a book on… the man named Kabuto… famous hear in Oto, I assume?”
“Of course… Kabuto… a great man he was.” she said. She picked up the book that she had been reading and put a book mark into it. She looked at him.

“I’ll let you have it if you promise not to lose my page…” she said in a somewhat quiet and seductive voice. He nodded. She held the book out and he prepared to take it away. But her grip tightened on it.
“Not uh… you have to…” he assumed she would say something like ‘seal it with a kiss’ or something… “pinky promise…” she said. She held out her pinky. He was shocked at what it was she said. But, he took his own pinky and embraced hers with it. When they releases, she released from the book as well.

He looked at her, as she looked at him and smiled. He slightly nodded his head and he turned. She just watched his every move. He sat down with his back slightly turned to her, but at such an angle that he would be able to see if she made a movement. He looked at the book before him that had been a regular book. It had not had any library prints on it or anything. He opened the first cover to see that it was owned by the descendants of Kabuto himself. Was this woman one of his descendants?

He would have to ask her about that when he returned the book to her. Until then, he would read just to gain the knowledge that he was looking for. He read on to gain the basic knowledge of Kabuto. He skimmed the whole book, only reading details in what was really important to him. He had actually conjured an interest in what the man was about and what he was capable of. In summary, Hayabusa felt a lot like Kabuto. Kabuto was a great medical scientist who was very knowledgeable and very skilled at fighting. He was really good.

He collected data on anybody he could and anybody that mattered. His scientific skills were second to only one man, and he and this man worked together, so Kabuto became to surpass this man once he died. The man was named Orochimaru.
“That was the name…” Hayabusa said out loud to himself. That had been the name that Hayabusa couldn’t remember, but knew he’d remember the name if he had either heard it or read it in a book or scroll. And there it was before him… Orochimaru… a greatly feared man. Here in Oto, he was highly respected it seems.

He pulled Kabuto’s strings, but Kabuto did not be forced to do it. He enjoyed being Orochimaru’s tool… he actually looked up to him. And when Orochimaru died, he left Kabuto with plentiful skills and knowledge. Orochimaru was Kabuto’s idol, and it came to the point where Kabuto began to turn into Orochimaru himself after performing an experiment on himself, adding Orochimaru’s DNA to his own in order to attempt to gain some of his power… and obviously, Orochimaru was a very powerful man whom was very smart and deviant. Hayabusa continued to read on about this man named Orochimaru.

There was actually a full volume’s worth of information on this man Orochimaru. It had seemed to be a book that was half Kabuto and half Orochimaru. It seemed as though this part was written by Kabuto telling of the man’s life. Kabuto was behind Orochimaru most of the way. It began by telling of his past in Konoha. He was named one of the three Legendary Sannin that were trained by the Third Hokage. He was the first of the three to die. But he made a great living in what it was that he did. He was named Missing.

He had performed too many wrongful experiments in Konoha. He escaped, being labeled Missing Nin. He had then joined an organization that Hayabusa was very fond of named Akatsuki. Hayabusa had never known that much. Orochimaru was very clever… and he had even known how to get eternal life by taking one’s body. And one vessel he had attempted to take was Hayabusa’s great grand father, Uchiha Itachi. His betrayal is what got him kicked out of Akatsuki. He wanted Itachi’s body for his beloeved Sharingan, but he was too skilled for Orochimaru to attack him, leaving him on his own.

He was Itachi’s partner that tried to back stab him. But this did not stop Hayabusa from admiring him. This was how Kabuto and Orochimaru became to be a team. Another Akatsuki member, Sasori, of Red Sand, in which Hayabusa idoled a lot, sent Kabuto to spy on Orochimaru by putting a mental block on him. But, Orochimaru knew of how to release the mental block and used Kabuto’s skills to his advantage. And it worked out for the best, because without Kabuto, Orochimaru would not be as successful as he was before being killed by his own greed for power.

Reading on, Hayabusa realized that his clan tied heavily with this man. He tried his hardest to find a vessel with the eyes of the Uchiha. When he planned an attack on Konoha using allies in Oto and killing the Kazekage, pretending to be him, taking control of Suna’s forces, Orochimaru crossed paths with Uchiha Itachi’s younger brother, Uchiha Sasuke. He planted him with what was known as the Cursed Seal. It was a seal that gave extraordinary powers. However, in return, Orochimaru had complete control over Sasuke’s will. And he made sure Sasuke would want to seek him out for power.

Sasuke did so, becoming a Missing Nin in the process. Orochimaru’s intentions were to take Sasuke’s body as a vessel. However, Sasuke had grown so much in power that he had be able to surpass and kill Orochimaru himself the day that Orochimaru was readying to take control of Sasuke’s body. That was the day that Kabuto had finally decided to put Orochimaru’s DNA in himself. With Orochimaru’s Cursed Seal on Sasuke, he still dwelled within him, waiting for the moment that Sasuke would be so weak, he could be unleashed. And so it did happen when Itachi and Sasuke fought.
