- History -
Akihiko's grandparents were both survivors of the destruction of Uzushio. They stay in the leaf villages with the other 4 families, birthing their 3 children then. Their parents instilled their pride in the Uzumaki clan as well as their distrust for most other ninjas, excluding Konoha. After their parent's passing, The Uzumaki families came together. Each family felt it dangerous to gather in one village. Though they distrusted others, they agreed. The three children, now adults, moved to Kumo. They did not have as much distrust as their parents, seeing they could work with others while keeping themselves protected.

Akihiko was the first born of the new generation in Kumo. He was quick to become friends with other boys his own age. His parents did not like this, but with no other kids in the family they were forced to allow it. Pride for the clan was instilled into him from birth. His parents also see a great hope in him. He could show Kumo the abilities a Uzumaki can do, but from the bodies of one of them. They enrolled him into the Ninja Academy at the earliest age possible and have already started teaching him the way of seals.
