Regaining the firsts necklace

It was time for Nythyia to look for the answers of the questions he seeked, the item of apparent value which made Hashirama Senju a legend in Shinobi History, a crystal necklace which amplified his Mokuton Jutsu power to untold levels to the point where he could easily control a tailed beast as if it were his pet. Information was Hashirama Senju was public, however at the same time secret, Konohagakure being very protective of their secrets from outside influences for the fear of them being used against it.

Nythyia had to approach this situation carefully and one person he needed to ask was his Mother who had only just recently returned from a long journey with his Father, both returning from successful missions though their bodies were bruised and battered only to return to a heap of mess made by Shin Uchiha and the Kyuubi. Nythyia approached his Mother who was in bed while the assistant prepared for dinner, the young Senju now recognized as a Chuunin within the ranks of Shinobi “Mother....I have a question”

he took a large gulp as he sat on the edge of her bed “I have heard rumours of a necklace which the first hokage wore in order to amplify his powers to control the bijuu......is this true?” she looked at him with some concern, the necklace of the first hokage was one of the best kept secrets in their family, yet it was almost common knowledge to Nythyia to some extent “where did you hear this from? And why do you want to know about it?” Nythyia was reluctant to tell her the full details but he was not one to lie to his Mother and Father

“Hayabusa-san told me......apparently he has been in the Village for the last few years under Military Protection” those words burnt within her soul as her eyes turned somewhat red “Hayabusa-kun? Of the Uchiha? I knew I could smell the foul odour of” Nythyia immediately told his Mother to stop “Not while I am present Mother, though you and the Uchiha have history......and a lot of it, I will not allow you to slander a man who has helped me get this far.....” it was a wish his mother had to respect, her boy was growing up

“Fine. The crystal necklace is a heirloom of the Senju and has been handed down for generations, it was originally worn by the first hokage and greatly increased his Mokuton jutsu to the point where the great tailed demons were reduced to mere pets for his will. Before the Forth Great Shinobi War this necklace was handed down to Hokage Uzumaki but was abrubtly destroyed whilst he was in his Kyuubi form.....suffice to say we thought that was the last time we would see the necklace, our Ancestor Yamato ventured out in search for another necklace to enhance his own power so he could keep the captured Bijuu at bay during the war and after weeks of searching he finally came across a small crystal deposit which shared the same properties as the first hokages necklace.”

.” She took in a deep breath before continuing with the story “on his death bed Yamato handed down this necklace for our family to use.....I have used it in the past but it has put an incredible strain on my body as my elements use has been constantly demanded by those looking to tame the bijous power.....im getting old and my body is not what it used to be, so in order to give me time to rest I locked the necklace away in a safe located in the basement of our home and your father has the key” Nythyia was excited, it seemed this journey was going to be easy, in fact it was literally within hands reach “Ok so wheres Tosan?” Nythyias mother shook her head

“You know your father, hes always on missions, on assignments. Since this incident with the Kyuubi his services have been needed alot more than usual......hes on his way towards Kumogakure in hopes to negotiate peace talks with the raikage. If you leave now you can catch him.” Nythyia sighed, he knew it was way too good to be true but before he left he turned towards his mother “I will succeed where the first failed......but i will keep his ideals with me mother......you can count on that” he wove a simple series of handseals “shunshin no jutsu”

before his body was swept away in a tornado of wood and leaves, the young Senju appearing near the northern gates of Konohagakure, stopped by two Special Jounin who were protecting the entry / exit “Where do you think your?.....” they stopped as they got a better look at the boy “Oh, apologies Senju Nythyia, we have had an unexpected amount of Genin trying to get out without supervision. Please, take your leave” Nythyia smiled “Its no problem really, say, have you seen Lydeck Karasu? I was told he was on an important mission which regarded peace talks in Kumogakure, however with so many routes to cover its near impossible to determine which one he took without assistance”

” the young Senju awaited an answer as the two simply stood there with blank looks on their faces “Sorry Kid, we did’nt catch a glimpse of him, but if the matter is urgent you can be sure he took the creeping vine route, its a little dangerous but its the fastest route to the Lighting Country without having to traverse somewhat safe terrain” Nythyia nodded as he offered thanks to both men before making a relatively soft pace towards Kumogakure, hopefully he could catch his father in time to get the key so he could gain this necklace everyone was so fond about.

The days grew dark, the birds which once filled the sky with their luscious feathers began to disappear one by one as the blanket of darkness shrouded the light which emitted from the sun, the warmth it once provided being replaced by cool nights breeze, the sound of insects filling the air as they called to one another in a series of clisps and screeches, small fruit bats littering the once plump trees in search for their natural nectar.

It was a sight unique to Konohagakure as it was a somewhat warm climate all year around, the young Senju was truely blessed to have been brought up in such a natural habitat, however even his home had had its fair share of tainted history, something Nythyia was determined to flush out in a moments notice. Nythyia kept a steady pace, he needed to gain ground and fast as local bandits found it the right time to spring traps and ambushes for the unfortunate who were unlucky to be ensnared, though from the corner of his eye he caught a glimpse of a small camp fire, a few voices being heard from the distance

Nythyia wove a series of handseals before extending his hand out, the wooden clone slowly exerting from fibres created from his body before taking form in the shape of its original body, both clone and Nythyia looking at each other before offering each other with a nod, the clone dashing up ahead though very quietyly in order to determine if those that created the fire were foes or friend.

The clone was perched up in a tree, its brown eyes looking down with much intent as it scanned the area, the voices it heard being transmitted to Nythyia “Please let us out, we need to get to Konohagakure in order to save our village” eruptions of sarcastic laugher broke out as 5 men began to kick a sturdy wooden cage “How about this, give US the money and we will save your village for you! Better yet, give us the money and we may kill you painlessly”

another voice being heard from amongst the crowd “we MAY” they all laughed again, the light radiating from the campfire illuminating the fear which showed from the prisoner of 3 as they all began to break down in tears. On observation it seemed that it was a Mother, a son and what seemed to be the Father though it was obvious he was many years older than the female, the clone relaying information back to Nythyia before it jumped down, exposing itself to the 5 bandits.

. It did not speak, rather it stared at them with an intense look in its eyes, its affinity with Konohagakure not shown as its headband was replaced with that of a Kanji headband which had “protection” engraved on it, a fitting word for the man who wanted to help his villagers. The 5 bandits were startled at first however they seemed to snap out of that mild fear as they each grasped for their weapons, tightly holding the hilts as the shimmering edges of each blade reflected what little light the fire had to offer.

The clone ran up, easily dispatching one bandit by aiming a well placed kick to the side of his temple, knocking him out cold however the clone was easily overpowered as the remaining 4 jumped on it, 2 men grabbing its arms while 2 men held it down, the final man who had been knocked down slowly getting up with an angry look on his face “Hmmfph. Its not often we are blessed with company, and better yet a Shinobi. Your kind sickens me, robs hard working class men like ourselves of easy booty. Well.....im sure your village wont miss you much”

he snickered as he impaled the clone with his long blade, a scream being heard from the female prisoner as she felt she had lost the only chance of escape. The men laughed, they saw a temporary victory, however the clone simply looked up as false blood trickled from its mouth, a cloud of smoke erupting as the impaled clone was replaced with an impaled wooden doll which roughly shared Nythyias appearance

. Vines erupted from the ground below, each one wrapping around the bandits as they were held in place, Nythyia walking out from the shadows, his eyes set on the man who had stabbed his clone “Your kind makes me sick bandit....your prey off the weak, you attack in groups against the helpless and you kills those who cannot defend for themselves.....I am a man of patience.....but I am not a man who sits back and does nothing to criminals”

Nythyia wove another series of hand seals as he slammed his hand on the ground, the soil collapsing from under their feet, forming a large dark hole though they were still being held on by the vines, each mans arrogant look now turning to that of a cowering dog. Nythyia looked back, throwing a single shuriken on the lock which broke it, freeing the captors “Run, follow the clone to Konohagakure, it will lead you too safety” another clone was formed as Nythyia stuck out his arm, the clone grabbing the hand of the lady as it made its way out, the lady turning around to say “thank you” though Nythyias attention was on the men who had caused so much pain

“Do not think for a second that you are getting a second chance......Im done with giving scum like you second chances” he clasped two hands together, the vines retracting back into the ground, the bandits plummeting to their doom, Nythyia weaving another series of handseals, the hole in the ground sealing up with loose gravel and soil before dashing off towards Kumogaure

He had been fortunate enough to catch up with his father moments later and he explained the situation and though his father was hesitant in giving his son the key to the safe he knew his son was destined for a greater future....he was a Senju after all. Nythyia grasped the key “Ill see you in Konohagakure when you return father, be safe”

Nythyia made his way back to Konohagkure where he would meet up with his mother again in the residence, showing her the key as he was patiently lead down the basement of the house “Know this Nythyia, if you possess this necklace your powers will be sought after by both good and evil, you will be used until you are drained because you possess the same power as the first himself......if you possess this necklace the decision to tame or use the bijuu lies in your hands......i trust you will make the right decision” she smiled softly, handing Nythyia over the crystal necklance, the young Senju putting it on, feeling his powers increase.
